What is the vibe?

Black Sheep Shelter is a family estate turned outdoor wedding venue that gives magic garden vibes and we can’t wait to share it with you! The entire event will be outdoor and there is a big covered space just in case it rains. The property has little to no signal and no wifi, so you’ll be forced to be present with us. :)

What is the dress code?

Where do I stay?

South Haven is a tourist town with lots of accommodation options. See our list of hotels recommendations and link to Airbnb listings here. We encourage you to go in on a big house in the area with family or friends if that’s your vibe!

Are you providing transportation?

We’re not! We anticipate guests to stay in various locations and trust everyone to get themselves home safely. If you need a ride we will make sure you can get an Uber or have a family member drive you. If you need to leave your car overnight, please ensure it is picked up by 10am the next day.

Can I bring my kids?

While we adore all of the kids of our family and friends, we’re throwing an adults only party. We would love to see them another time! The venue does not allow animal babies so please leave them at home too.

Is smoking allowed?

Yes but only on the patio adjacent to the restrooms. Please throw away cigarette butts in the provided receptacle and do not smoke anywhere else on the property. We want to respect the venue’s rules! (And also don’t want to be charged $500 for people violating this.)

What do I do around here?

South Haven is a cute little town right on Lake Michigan. You can explore downtown and walk to the beach and lighthouse.

Will there be a blood sacrifice?

Only if you bring your kids!
